Job Overview

The successful candidate will teach core business concepts, including marketing, operational management, human resources, finance, and corporate strategy.

Collaborating with a dedicated enterprise team, you will combine academic theory with real-world case studies to prepare students for higher education and modern business environments. This is a full-time, permanent role suited to an organized, commercially aware practitioner.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach high-quality Business Studies lessons across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 (GCSE, A-Level, BTEC Tech Award/National)

• Design structured learning activities that cover business structure, financial decision-making, and market trends

• Monitor, track, and assess pupil work to ensure strong coursework and exam outcomes

• Lead enterprise initiatives, such as Student Investor challenges, mock business pitches, and Young Enterprise schemes

• Maintain strong relationships with local business partners to arrange guest speaker sessions and workplace visits

• Serve as a Form Tutor, contributing to the pastoral care, tracking, and wellbeing of your assigned cohort

• Utilize digital business simulation tools to enhance interactive learning in the classroom

• Support the ongoing administrative and strategic development of the Business department

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will feature:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognized UK teaching credentials (PGCE / SCITT)
