We are currently looking to register reliable and enthusiastic English Teachers for daily supply opportunities across Brent from September 2026.

Whether you're an experienced teacher looking for more flexibility, an ECT wanting to gain experience across different schools, or simply prefer the variety of supply work, this is an opportunity to continue teaching while having greater control over your availability.

Flexible Opportunities Across Brent

This is a day-to-day supply opportunity rather than a permanent position. Assignments will be offered based on your availability, experience, preferred locations and the requirements of local schools.

You could cover a single day, several consecutive days or a short-term period of absence. There is no obligation to accept assignments that don't work for you.

Your Day-to-Day Role

As a Supply English Teacher, you'll be expected to:

Deliver Quality Lessons: Deliver engaging English lessons using the school's existing plans and resources, ensuring students remain focused and supported.

Manage the Classroom: Establish clear expectations and maintain a positive, purposeful learning environment.

Settle In Quickly: Adapt to different schools, classes, routines and expectations, often with limited notice.

Support Students: Check understanding, answer questions and provide appropriate support throughout lessons.

Work Professionally: Follow safeguarding procedures, school policies and the expectations of each school you work in.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent where applicable

• Experience teaching English at the relevant Key Stages

• Strong classroom management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• The ability to quickly establish positive relationships with students

• Reliability and professionalism

• A genuine commitment to supporting students' learning

• A valid legal right to work in the United Kingdom
