A good secondary school in Ipswich is looking for a PE Teacher to join its supportive department. This role would suit someone who is passionate about physical education, enjoys working with young people and wants to encourage students to become more active and confident.

The Role

• Deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3–KS5.

• Teach a variety of sports and physical activities.

• Develop students' practical skills, fitness and understanding of sport.

• Encourage students of all abilities to participate.

• Support GCSE and A-Level PE where required.

• Help students understand the links between exercise, health and wellbeing.

• Contribute to school teams, fixtures, clubs and competitions.

• Build a positive environment where students feel comfortable trying new activities.

The Candidate

We're looking for an enthusiastic PE Teacher with good subject knowledge and a positive approach to teaching.

You should be able to motivate students who are already confident in sport while also encouraging those who may be less experienced or reluctant to participate.

A relevant degree and teaching qualification would be desirable. Experience of examination PE would also be an advantage.
