Our client is seeking a skilled, safety-conscious Design & Technology Teacher to join their thriving practical technology faculty from September. In this full-time role, you will deliver dynamic practical workshop sessions and theoretical design modules across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 (GCSE Design & Technology), and Key Stage 5 (A-Level Product Design / Design Engineering).
You will guide pupils through iterative design thinking, material properties (timbers, metals, polymers), workshop machine safety, hand tools, 3D printing, laser cutting, and industry-standard CAD software (SolidWorks/AutoCAD). The department boasts newly refurbished workshops, rapid prototyping suites, dedicated technician support, and an active co-curricular schedule including greenpower car building and national design competitions.

Qualifications & Criteria
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognized UK teaching credentials (PGCE / SCITT)
Honors degree in Product Design, Design Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related discipline
Full machine safety certification (DATA / CLEAPSS accredited) and proficiency with CAD/CAM technology
Proven track record (or clear potential during training) for delivering excellent GCSE and A-Level design results
