Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) leading whole-school SEND strategy and EHCP provision
Full-time, permanent leadership position | September start
Our client is seeking a dedicated, highly organised SENCo to join their Senior Leadership Team (SLT) from September. Working closely with teaching staff, parents, and external local authority specialists, you will take direct responsibility for maintaining, developing, and auditing the school's special educational needs provision.
Key responsibilities include coordinating Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), conducting statutory annual reviews, overseeing targeted intervention programs, and managing the deployment of learning support assistants (LSAs). You will also design bespoke learning timetables, liaise with speech and language therapists and educational psychologists, and deliver internal CPD training to ensure all classroom teachers deliver high-quality, inclusive instruction.

Qualifications & Criteria
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCo / NPQ for SENCos)

Proven track record of leading interventions, assessing learning barriers, and line-managing support staff
Outstanding communication, de-escalation, and multi-agency liaison capabilities
