Our client is seeking an articulate, passionate Drama Teacher to join their thriving performing arts faculty from September. In this full-time role, you will deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 (GCSE Drama), and Key Stage 5 (A-Level Drama & Theatre Studies / Level 3 Performing Arts).

You will guide students through practitioner methodologies (Stanislavski, Brecht, Frantic Assembly), script analysis, ensemble devisings, and technical theatre design (lighting, sound, and scenography). The department boasts a fully equipped 200-seat black box theatre, professional lighting/sound rigs, dedicated rehearsal studios, and an active co-curricular schedule including seasonal plays, musicals, and National Theatre Connections participation.

Qualifications & Criteria

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognized UK teaching credentials (PGCE / SCITT)

  • Honors degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, Performing Arts, or a closely related discipline

  • Proven track record (or strong potential) for delivering high-quality GCSE and A-Level exam results

  • Passion for directing co-curricular theatrical productions, rehearsals, and showcase events
