Full-time, year-round permanent leadership position | September start
Our client is seeking an articulate and commercially astute School Business Manager (SBM) to lead the non-teaching operational strategy from September. Working in close partnership with the Headteacher and Governing Body, you will sit on the Senior Leadership Team and take direct responsibility for the school's long-term financial sustainability, statutory compliance, and administrative efficiency.
Key responsibilities include constructing and managing multi-million-pound operational budgets, delivering comprehensive financial forecasting to governors, overseeing procurement and external contractor tenders, and managing capital build projects. You will also line-manage administrative, premises, and catering staff, direct health & safety compliance, and oversee HR operations—including payroll verification, pension management, and Single Central Record (SCR) auditing.
