This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll play an important part in the day-to-day life of the school, helping to ensure the site is secure, well maintained and ready to support learning every day.

The Role

As Caretaker, you will:

• Carry out general maintenance and minor repairs across the school.

• Open and lock the school buildings and ensure site security.

• Complete routine health and safety checks.

• Prepare classrooms and shared spaces for school activities and events.

• Monitor the condition of the buildings and report or coordinate repairs.

• Work with contractors and support the upkeep of the school grounds.

• Help ensure the school remains a safe, welcoming environment for everyone.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience in caretaking, maintenance or a similar role.

• Is practical, organised and able to work independently.

• Has a good understanding of health and safety.

• Takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe environment.

• Enjoys being part of a friendly school community.

• Has the legal right to work in the UK.
