About the Role

As an English Teacher, you will deliver engaging and challenging lessons that encourage curiosity, confidence and independent learning across the curriculum.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Teaching English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach A Level for suitably experienced candidates.

• Planning and delivering creative, high-quality lessons that inspire academic achievement.

• Monitoring student progress and providing timely, constructive feedback.

• Creating an inclusive classroom environment where every pupil is encouraged to achieve their potential.

• Contributing to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful applicant will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Have experience teaching English within a secondary school setting.

• Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for English.

• Be committed to delivering engaging, student-centred lessons.
