The successful candidate will become an integral part of the school's support team, helping to create a positive, nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported and ready to learn.
The Role
As Attendance & Welfare Officer, you'll play a key role in supporting both attendance and pupil welfare across the school.
Responsibilities will include:
Monitoring daily attendance and following up on pupil absences
Working closely with families to improve attendance and punctuality
Supporting pupils experiencing barriers to learning or regular attendance
Maintaining accurate attendance records using the school's MIS
Liaising with external agencies and professionals where appropriate
Assisting with safeguarding, welfare and pastoral support when required
Producing attendance reports and identifying trends for senior leaders
