The Opportunity
You'll lead the school's attendance processes while working collaboratively with staff, parents and external agencies to promote excellent attendance and punctuality.
Your responsibilities will include:
Monitoring and recording daily attendance across the school
Contacting parents and carers regarding student absences
Identifying attendance patterns and producing reports for senior leaders
Supporting attendance interventions and student meetings
Maintaining accurate attendance records using the school's MIS
Liaising with external agencies where additional support is required
Ensuring attendance procedures remain compliant with statutory guidance

What You'll Bring
The school is seeking an organised and approachable individual who enjoys working with people and has excellent communication skills.
Previous experience in attendance, school administration, pastoral support or a similar administrative role would be advantageous. The ability to remain calm under pressure, manage competing priorities and build positive relationships with students and families is essential.
