Every successful exam season relies on exceptional organisation behind the scenes. A successful secondary school in Farnborough is looking to appoint an organised and proactive Examinations Officer to join its support team on a permanent basis from September 2026.
This is a rewarding opportunity to oversee the smooth delivery of internal and external examinations, ensuring every assessment is conducted efficiently, securely and in line with awarding body regulations. Working closely with senior leaders, teaching staff and invigilators, you'll play an integral role in supporting students through one of the most important stages of their education.

The Role
As Examinations Officer, you'll coordinate all aspects of the examinations process throughout the academic year.
Responsibilities include:
Managing examination entries, timetables and candidate registrations
Ensuring compliance with JCQ regulations and awarding body requirements
Coordinating and supporting a team of exam invigilators
Working alongside the SEND department to implement approved access arrangements
Maintaining the secure handling and storage of examination papers
Supporting results days and post-results services
Keeping accurate examination records and documentation

About You
You'll be organised, detail-focused and able to manage competing priorities while remaining calm under pressure.
Previous experience in examinations administration would be beneficial, although strong administrators looking to build a career within education are encouraged to apply. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach are essential.

£27,780 – £30,564 FTE (£24,371 – £26,814 actual)
