An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Manager to join an Outstanding secondary school in Camden on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2026.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the School Business Director, you'll oversee the day-to-day management of the HR function while acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders across all people-related matters.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading the school's HR function and managing the full employee lifecycle
Advising leaders on employee relations, performance management and employment legislation
Overseeing recruitment, onboarding and safer recruitment compliance
Managing the Single Central Record and ensuring statutory compliance
Developing and reviewing HR policies and procedures
Supporting payroll, contract management and workforce planning
Leading staff wellbeing and employee engagement initiatives
Producing HR reports to support strategic decision-making

About You
The school is looking to appoint an experienced HR professional who enjoys building positive working relationships and delivering a high-quality HR service.
You'll have previous experience within HR management, strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and the confidence to advise senior leaders on a wide range of people matters. Experience within education is desirable, although candidates from other sectors with transferable HR leadership experience are encouraged to apply.
Salary & Benefits
£45,000 – £55,000 per annum
