Working alongside the School Business Manager and leadership team, you'll help maintain a safe, compliant and inviting learning environment for everyone on site.

The Role

The School Caretaker will oversee the day-to-day maintenance and presentation of the school premises.

Responsibilities include:

• Opening and locking the school each day

• Carrying out routine maintenance, repairs and decorating

• Maintaining the school grounds and outdoor areas

• Completing regular health and safety inspections

• Reporting and responding to maintenance issues promptly

• Liaising with contractors and monitoring works on site

• Setting up classrooms, halls and outdoor spaces for school activities and events

• Ensuring the site remains clean, secure and compliant with health and safety regulations

The Successful Candidate
