A thriving secondary school in Southwark is looking to appoint an HR Officer to join its support staff team on a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract from September 2026.

The Role
The HR Officer will support the day-to-day operation of the school's HR function, ensuring processes are delivered accurately and in line with employment legislation and safeguarding requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing recruitment administration and coordinating interviews
Supporting onboarding, induction and pre-employment checks
Preparing contracts, offer letters and HR documentation
Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems
Monitoring staff absence and supporting employee lifecycle processes
Providing HR support and guidance to managers and staff
Assisting with policy implementation and HR projects

The Successful Candidate
