We are seeking an inspirational, highly competent Maths Teacher to deliver outstanding mathematics instruction across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for a suitably qualified candidate. KEY TASKS & DAILY OPERATIONS

• Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging, high-leverage mathematics lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, catering to diverse learning needs and promoting mastery.

• GCSE & A-Level Preparation: Prepare students for GCSE Mathematics examinations (and optional A-Level Core/Further Maths), focusing on exam technique, mathematical reasoning, and targeted intervention.

• Assessment & Tracking: Regularly assess pupil progress using diagnostic testing and digital tracking tools to inform planning and provide constructive feedback.

• Departmental Collaboration: Contribute to shared scheme-of-work development, moderation, extra-curricular maths clubs, and national competition entries (e.g., UKMT).

• Pastoral Duties: Act as a form tutor, maintaining positive relationships with pupils, supporting daily registration routines, and liaising with parents.

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS

• Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or a closely related quantitative discipline.

• Experience: Open to experienced teachers with a track record of strong examination results, as well as Early Career Teachers (ECTs) demonstrating high potential.

• Skills: Excellent subject knowledge, strong classroom management, clear communication skills, and the ability to inspire a love for problem-solving.
