A highly regarded secondary school in Newham is looking to appoint an HR Administrator to join its busy support team on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2026.
Working closely with the HR Manager and Senior Leadership Team, you'll play a key role in ensuring the school delivers an efficient, compliant, and people-focused HR service. From supporting recruitment and onboarding to maintaining employee records and ensuring safeguarding compliance, you'll be at the heart of the school's day-to-day operations.
This role would suit someone with previous HR or school administration experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting recruitment, interviews, and safer recruitment processes
Preparing contracts, offer letters, and employment documentation
Maintaining accurate HR systems and personnel records
Coordinating pre-employment checks and onboarding
Processing payroll amendments and contractual changes
Monitoring staff absence and maintaining HR data
Responding to HR queries from employees and managers
Supporting compliance with employment legislation and safeguarding requirements

Salary & Benefits
£30,000–£36,000 per annum
