About the Role
The successful candidate will teach Spanish across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5, delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that develop students' speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
You will encourage students to become confident communicators while fostering an appreciation of Spanish language and culture. The department delivers a broad curriculum supported by enrichment opportunities including language clubs, cultural events, educational visits, and international projects.
Applications are welcomed from experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers who are passionate about delivering exceptional language education.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Spanish across KS3, KS4, and KS5
Deliver engaging and challenging lessons
Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations

Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development
Support language enrichment activities

Candidate Requirements
Essential Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Spanish at secondary level
Ability to teach KS3 and KS4 confidently
Strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills
Passion for inspiring young people through language learning
Desirable
Ability to teach Spanish at A-Level
Ability to teach an additional language such as French
Experience leading language enrichment activities
A proven track record of delivering excellent student outcomes
