A successful Secondary School in Nottingham is looking to appoint an experienced Office Manager to lead its busy administration team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised professional who enjoys managing people, improving systems and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of a thriving school office.
Working closely with the Headteacher, School Business Manager and Senior Leadership Team, you will oversee all administrative functions, manage office staff and ensure pupils, parents, visitors and external agencies receive a professional and welcoming service.

Office Team
The Office Team plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day running of the school. Working closely with every department, the team ensures administrative processes operate efficiently while delivering an excellent service to students, families and staff.
Responsibilities
Managing the daily operation of the school office.
Supervising and supporting administrative staff.
Overseeing admissions administration.
Managing the school's Management Information System (MIS).
Coordinating communication with parents and external agencies.
Preparing reports, letters and official correspondence.
Managing office budgets and ordering supplies.
Organising meetings and maintaining leadership diaries.
Supporting HR and recruitment administration.
Ensuring GDPR compliance.
Managing reception services.
Supporting school events and parents' evenings.
Reviewing administrative procedures.
Providing support to the Senior Leadership Team.
Maintaining a welcoming and professional office environment.
Requirements
Previous Office Manager or senior administration experience.
School administration experience is desirable.
Experience using school MIS systems.
Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities.
High attention to detail.
Commitment to safeguarding.
