A successful secondary school in Hemel Hempstead is seeking an ambitious Physical Education Teacher to join its well-established PE department from September. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire students to lead active, healthy lifestyles while developing their practical skills, teamwork and confidence through high-quality physical education.
The successful candidate will teach Physical Education across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach A-Level PE. The curriculum includes a wide range of activities including athletics, football, rugby, netball, basketball, cricket, gymnastics, badminton and fitness training. Students are encouraged to develop both practical performance and theoretical understanding, including anatomy, physiology, sports psychology and leadership.
The department enjoys excellent sporting facilities including a modern sports hall, fitness suite, extensive playing fields, all-weather pitches and specialist teaching spaces. Teachers work collaboratively to deliver engaging lessons while supporting an extensive extracurricular programme that includes competitive fixtures, sports tours and enrichment clubs.
