A successful Secondary School in Manchester is seeking a reliable and proactive Site Supervisor to join its dedicated premises team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work and takes pride in maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming school environment.
Working closely with the Premises Manager and School Business Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of the school site, ensuring buildings, classrooms and outdoor areas are maintained to a high standard. You will play an important role in supporting both staff and students by ensuring the school remains fully operational throughout the academic year.

Site Team
The Site Team is responsible for ensuring the school remains safe, secure and fully operational every day.
Responsibilities
Opening and locking the school site.
Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs.
Completing daily site inspections.
Monitoring heating, lighting and security systems.
Supporting external contractors.
Preparing classrooms and halls for school events.
Maintaining outdoor spaces and pathways.
Monitoring fire safety equipment.
Responding to maintenance requests.
Assisting with deliveries and furniture movement.
Maintaining maintenance records.
Supporting health and safety compliance.
Reporting larger repairs promptly.
Assisting with emergency procedures.
Ensuring the school remains clean, safe and welcoming.
Requirements
Previous site or facilities experience.
Good practical maintenance skills.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
