Site Manager | Outstanding Secondary School | Brent
A high-performing secondary school in Brent is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the day-to-day management of its premises from September 2026.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for a proactive and organised individual who enjoys taking ownership of a busy school site and leading a small premises team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the school remains safe, secure, and maintained to the highest standards.
The Role
Reporting to the School Business Manager, you'll oversee the operation of the school site, ensuring the buildings and grounds are well maintained and fully compliant with health and safety requirements.
Responsibilities include:
Managing the day-to-day running of the school premises
Supervising caretaking and cleaning staff
Carrying out planned maintenance and coordinating repairs
Managing contractors and site access
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Overseeing security, including opening and closing the site
Monitoring maintenance budgets and ordering supplies
Supporting school events and lettings where required

The Successful Candidate

The school is looking for someone who can lead by example, manage contractors effectively, and build positive working relationships across the school.

Salary & Benefits
£35,000–£42,000 per annum (depending on experience)
