A successful Secondary School in Southampton is looking to appoint a reliable and proactive Site Supervisor to join its dedicated premises team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong practical skills who enjoys maintaining a safe, secure and well-presented learning environment while playing an important role in the day-to-day running of the school.
Working closely with the Premises Manager and School Business Manager, you will help ensure the school's buildings and grounds remain fully operational, well maintained and compliant with all health and safety requirements. This is a varied role that would suit someone who enjoys problem-solving, working independently and contributing to a positive school environment.

Site Team
The Site Team plays a vital role in ensuring the school remains safe, secure and operational throughout the year.
Responsibilities
Opening and securing the school site each day.
Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs.
Completing daily site inspections.
Monitoring contractors working on site.
Preparing classrooms and halls for school events.
Maintaining heating, lighting and security systems.
Supporting health and safety compliance.
Monitoring fire safety equipment.
Maintaining external grounds and pathways.
Responding promptly to maintenance requests.
Assisting with deliveries and furniture movement.
Maintaining maintenance records.
Supporting emergency evacuation procedures.
Reporting larger repairs to the Premises Manager.
Helping to maintain a safe and welcoming school environment.
Requirements
Previous site or facilities experience.
Good practical maintenance skills.
Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
Excellent organisational skills.
