A thriving Secondary School in Birmingham is looking to appoint a professional and highly organised School Administrator to join its welcoming office team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced school environment and providing first-class support to students, parents, staff and visitors.
Working alongside the Office Manager and Senior Leadership Team, you will play an important role in ensuring the school office runs efficiently each day. This varied position would suit someone who can prioritise workloads, communicate confidently with a range of stakeholders and maintain high levels of accuracy while working under pressure.

Administration Team
The Administration Team is responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the school while delivering a professional service to students, parents and visitors.
Responsibilities
Acting as the first point of contact for visitors and telephone enquiries.
Managing incoming emails and correspondence.
Maintaining accurate pupil records.
Supporting admissions administration.
Preparing letters, reports and school documentation.
Managing meeting bookings and staff diaries.
Updating the school's Management Information System.
Supporting attendance administration.
Ordering office supplies.
Processing incoming and outgoing post.
Assisting with school events and parents' evenings.
Maintaining confidential records in line with GDPR.
Providing administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team.
Supporting examination administration during busy periods.
Assisting with general office duties as required.
Requirements
Previous administration experience.
School administration experience is desirable.
Excellent organisational skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Good IT skills including Microsoft Office.
Experience using school MIS systems is advantageous.
High attention to detail.
Ability to manage competing priorities.
Professional and approachable manner.
Commitment to safeguarding.
