Premises Manager to oversee campus facilities, maintenance, and compliance
Full-time, year-round permanent role | September start
Our client is seeking a professional, practically minded, and exceptionally organised Premises Manager to join their senior support team from September. This is a full-time, year-round leadership position, ideal for an estates supervisor, facility manager, or senior technician looking to coordinate daily operations, capital projects, and safety compliance across a large, modern campus.
The successful candidate will take strategic ownership of the school estate. You will manage the caretaking team's shift cycles, supervise external mechanical and electrical contractors, track utility efficiency metrics, and manage the annual maintenance budget. You will assume personal accountability for the flawless tracking of all statutory compliance records—including legionella water safety protocols, fire safety audits, emergency lighting diagnostics, and asbestos monitoring in strict accordance with national HASAWA frameworks.

Experience and Qualifications

Strong IT and data literacy, with confidence utilizing digital helpdesk platforms and facilities asset software
A background or qualification in a specialized trade (such as electrical, plumbing, or carpentry) is highly advantageous
