Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Science Teacher to join their expanding science faculty from September. This is a full-time, permanent position, ideal for an experienced practitioner or an outstanding Early Career Teacher (ECT) with a passion for inquiry-based learning, practical laboratory experiments, and quantitative data analysis.

The successful candidate will deliver a dynamic curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to contribute to post-16 (KS5) Biology, Chemistry, or Physics tracks depending on your specialty. You will focus on managing safe laboratory environments, tracking student metrics on digital learning portals, and guiding exam cohorts to excellent results.

The Science department benefits from modern, newly built laboratory spaces, dedicated full-time technician support, and a supportive, open working culture. Senior leadership actively manages teacher workloads with shared lesson plans and centralized behavior systems.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

  • A degree in a core scientific discipline (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics)

  • Strong classroom management and a proactive approach to laboratory safety protocols

  • Proven track record of raising student attainment at GCSE level
