Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic PE Teacher to join their expanding Physical Education department from September. This is a full-time, permanent position, ideal for an experienced practitioner or an outstanding Early Career Teacher (ECT) with a passion for inclusive sports coaching, athletic skill development, and health and fitness theory.

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, practical PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will focus on organizing dynamic physical activities, coaching major team and individual sports, managing state-of-the-art sports facilities, and helping coordinate the school's active extracurricular fixtures and regional tournament calendars.

The Physical Education department benefits from an exceptional indoor sports hall, a fully equipped fitness suite, all-weather pitches, and a highly collaborative team of coaching and subject specialists.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

  • A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related coaching discipline

  • Proven track record of delivering engaging, safe, and inclusive PE lessons to diverse groups of learners

  • Professional, proactive approach to student safety, manual handling, and first aid procedures
