Full-time, permanent role | September start
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Music Teacher to join their experienced creative arts faculty from September. This is a full-time, permanent position, ideal for an experienced practitioner or an outstanding Early Career Teacher (ECT) with a clear vision for introducing students to diverse musical genres, traditional notation, and modern digital production.
The successful candidate will deliver a dynamic and challenging curriculum across KS3 and KS4, preparing students for exceptional outcomes in their GCSE Music exams. Beyond the classroom, you will help coordinate instrumental tutor schedules, lead extracurricular ensembles (such as choirs, bands, and music technology clubs), and support the planning of the school’s busy seasonal performance and showcase calendar.
The Music department is highly popular and benefits from dedicated acoustic rehearsal rooms, modern instrument inventories, and keyboard suites equipped with digital audio workstations (DAWs).

Experience and Qualifications
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
A degree in Music or a closely related creative discipline

Complete comfort utilizing digital score editors and audio production software (DAWs)
