Working closely with the Headteacher, School Business Manager and Senior Leadership Team, you will oversee all aspects of the school office, ensuring administrative systems operate efficiently while delivering a professional and welcoming service to students, parents, staff and visitors. Office Team
The Office Team provides professional administrative support across every area of school life, ensuring the school operates efficiently every day.
Responsibilities
Managing the day-to-day operation of the school office.
Leading and supporting the administration team.
Overseeing admissions administration.
Managing pupil records and confidential documentation.
Coordinating communication with parents and external agencies.
Preparing reports and correspondence for senior leaders.
Managing office budgets and ordering supplies.
Maintaining the school's Management Information System.
Coordinating staff diaries and meeting schedules.
Supporting recruitment and HR administration.
Ensuring GDPR compliance.
Reviewing and improving office procedures.
Managing reception and visitor services.
Supporting school events and examinations administration.
Providing administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team.
Requirements
Previous Office Manager or senior administration experience.
School administration experience is desirable.
Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office.
Experience using school MIS systems.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
High attention to detail.
Ability to manage competing priorities.
Professional and approachable manner.
