A well-established 11 to 18 Secondary School in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking an organised, professional and proactive School Administrator to join its busy administrative team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced educational environment where no two days are the same. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school office while providing excellent support to students, staff, parents and visitors.
Working alongside the Office Manager and Senior Leadership Team, you will become an integral part of a collaborative administration department that prides itself on delivering an efficient and welcoming service to the whole school community. This role would suit someone with excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism at all times.

Administration Team
The administration team is central to the successful operation of the school, ensuring that all administrative processes are completed accurately and efficiently while providing outstanding customer service to students, parents, staff and visitors.
Responsibilities include:
Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, parents and external agencies.
Answering telephone and email enquiries professionally.
Maintaining accurate student records and confidential files.
Supporting admissions and pupil enrolment processes.
Preparing letters, reports and school correspondence.
Managing meeting room bookings and staff diaries.
Assisting with attendance administration.
Processing incoming and outgoing post.
Ordering office supplies and maintaining stock levels.
Supporting school events and parents' evenings.
Updating school management information systems.
Providing administrative support to senior leaders.
Maintaining GDPR compliance and confidentiality.
Assisting with examination administration where required.
Supporting wider office projects throughout the academic year.
Requirements
Previous administration experience, ideally within a school environment.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good IT skills including Microsoft Office.
Experience using school MIS systems is desirable.
High attention to detail.
Ability to prioritise a busy workload.
Professional and friendly approach.
