Full-time role | September start
Our client is seeking an ambitious and forward-thinking Food Technology Teacher to join an established independent school in Somerset from September. This is a full-time position, ideal for a strong practitioner with outstanding culinary skills and a clear vision for introducing students to hospitality, food provenance, and nutritional science.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality practical and theoretical lessons across KS3 & KS4, preparing students for exceptional outcomes in Food Preparation and Nutrition GCSEs. You will oversee daily kitchen workshop operations, monitor food safety compliance (COSHH frameworks), manage raw ingredient inventories, and design creative extracurricular culinary workshops.

Experience and Qualifications
Qualified Teacher with QTS (or equivalent) with a specialization in Food Technology or Hospitality

Proven track record of raising attainment and managing busy, active kitchen spaces safely
Professional and proactive approach to tracking student coursework portfolios
