Our client is seeking a professional, practically minded, and exceptionally organised Site Manager to join an established academy in Oxford from September. This is a full-time, year-round position, ideal for a strong technical practitioner with proven team leadership skills and a clear vision for preventative maintenance.
The successful candidate will lead the strategic and operational development of the campus fabric and mechanical systems. You will oversee caretaker shift patterns, supervise external specialized contractors, manage utility budgets, and maintain flawless statutory compliance logs—including emergency lighting, legionella flushing, and fire safety systems in accordance with HASAWA frameworks.

Experience and Qualifications
Proven experience in a site manager, estates supervisor, or senior facilities role (school or public sector experience preferred)
Deep working knowledge of current health and safety legislation, COSHH guidelines, and statutory building compliance
Strong IT and data literacy, with confidence utilizing digital facilities helpdesk platforms and asset software
A qualification or background in a specialized trade (electrical, plumbing, carpentry) is highly advantageous
