Working closely with teaching staff and subject leaders, you will support practical science activities by preparing equipment, maintaining resources and ensuring lessons run safely and efficiently. The successful candidate will play an important role in helping pupils develop scientific enquiry skills through exciting hands-on learning experiences.

Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing equipment and materials for practical science lessons.
Organising and maintaining science resources.
Checking and maintaining equipment.
Supporting teachers with practical investigations.
Monitoring stock levels and ordering resources.
Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed.
Maintaining storage areas and equipment inventories.
Preparing materials for science clubs and enrichment activities.
Supporting STEM events across the school.
Maintaining accurate resource records.
Assisting with classroom displays and practical learning environments.
Helping promote enthusiasm for science throughout the school.
The successful candidate will become a valued member of the wider support staff team, helping deliver exciting science experiences that inspire pupils to develop a lifelong interest in learning.
Requirements
Previous technician, laboratory or practical support experience is desirable.
