A well-established secondary school in Maidstone is looking to appoint an organised and professional School Administrator to join its busy and welcoming office team. Working alongside the Office Manager, Senior Leadership Team and wider support staff, you will provide high-quality administrative support across a range of school functions. You will be the first point of contact for parents, visitors and external agencies, ensuring everyone receives a friendly, professional and efficient service while helping maintain the excellent standards expected across the school.
This role would suit someone who thrives in a busy environment, has exceptional organisational skills and enjoys working as part of a supportive team.

Administration Team
The Administration Team provides essential support across every area of the school, ensuring daily operations run efficiently while delivering outstanding customer service.
As School Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
Welcoming visitors, parents and external agencies.
Managing incoming telephone and email enquiries.
Maintaining accurate pupil records using the school's management information system.
Preparing letters, reports and confidential documentation.
Supporting admissions and enrolment processes.
Coordinating appointments and meeting schedules.
Processing incoming and outgoing post.
Ordering office supplies and monitoring stock levels.
Supporting attendance administration where required.
Assisting with school events and parents' evenings.
Maintaining confidential records in accordance with GDPR.
Providing administrative support to senior leaders and teaching staff.
The successful candidate will join an experienced office team where professionalism, teamwork and excellent customer service are highly valued.
Requirements
Previous administration experience, ideally within education.
Excellent organisational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
Experience using school MIS systems is desirable.
Excellent attention to detail.

Commitment to safeguarding and confidentiality.
