A welcoming primary school in Solihull is looking to appoint an organised and professional School Administrator to join its experienced office team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a busy school environment and takes pride in delivering an efficient, friendly and professional service to pupils, parents, staff and visitors.
Working closely with the Headteacher, Office Manager and wider administration team, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school office. You will become the first point of contact for many visitors and families, providing a positive experience while supporting a wide range of administrative processes across the school.
This is a varied role that requires excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a calm and professional approach.

Administration Team
The Administration Team is central to the smooth running of the school, supporting pupils, parents and staff on a daily basis. As School Administrator, you will work closely with colleagues to ensure administrative processes are completed accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
Your responsibilities will include:
Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, parents and external agencies.
Answering telephone calls and responding to email enquiries.
Maintaining accurate pupil records using the school's management information system.
Preparing letters, reports and school documentation.
Supporting admissions and enrolment administration.
Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence.
Coordinating meeting schedules and room bookings.
Ordering office supplies and maintaining stock levels.
Supporting attendance administration where required.
Assisting with school events and parents' evenings.
Maintaining confidential records in line with GDPR requirements.
Providing general administrative support to the wider leadership team.
The successful candidate will join a friendly office team that works collaboratively to ensure the school operates efficiently while delivering an excellent service to the wider community.
Requirements
Previous school or office administration experience.
Excellent organisational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
Experience using school MIS systems is desirable.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Professional and welcoming manner.
Ability to manage competing priorities.
Commitment to safeguarding and confidentiality.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
