Full-Time, Permanent Geography Teacher
A successful secondary school in Norwich is looking to appoint an ambitious Geography Teacher to join its thriving Humanities department from September. This is an excellent opportunity to teach within a supportive department that encourages curiosity, independent thinking and a real understanding of the physical and human world.
The successful candidate will teach Geography across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach A-Level Geography. Lessons encourage students to investigate contemporary environmental issues, population change, urban development and physical landscapes while developing strong enquiry, map-reading and fieldwork skills.
The Geography department is highly collaborative, with teachers working together to produce engaging schemes of work that challenge students of all abilities. Fieldwork is an important part of the curriculum, giving students opportunities to apply classroom learning through practical investigations and geographical research.
