Quantitative Logic & Problem-Solving Scaffolding: Train pupils to a high technical standard in breaking down complex, multi-step word problems, constructing logical mathematical arguments, and mastering precise quantitative equations to build robust examination confidence.
GCSE Performance Optimization: Guide Year 11 examination cohorts meticulously through the rigorous demands of linear terminal Higher and Foundation tier papers, utilizing diagnostic data tracking and low-stakes testing to eliminate persistent misconceptions and maximize high-grade retention.
Closing Progress & Numerical Literacy Gaps: Identify and target learning barriers within mixed-ability cohorts, deploying explicit command-word instruction, scaffolded analysis tools, and targeted numeracy interventions to ensure accessibility for SEND pupils while stretching high-prior-attaining critical thinkers.
Inclusive Pastoral Support: Fulfil full form tutor responsibilities within our established house system, supporting pupil wellbeing, managing daily registration routines, and maintaining proactive, positive communication with local families.
PROFILE REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised equivalent teaching credential, paired with a strong honours degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Physics, or a closely related highly quantitative scientific discipline.
Pedagogical Capability: A proven track record or clear capacity to deliver strong progress metrics and exceptional performance outcomes in terminal public GCSE specifications through highly structured, systematic, and explicit mathematical pedagogy.
