Grammatical Precision & Synthesis Scaffolding: Train pupils to a high technical standard in decoding complex tenses, moods (including the conditional and subjunctive), and idiomatic syntax, utilizing structured sentence-builder templates to eliminate written misconceptions.
GCSE Performance Optimization: Guide Year 11 examination cohorts meticulously through the rigorous demands of terminal Higher and Foundation tier papers across all four assessment modalities (Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing), utilizing diagnostic tracking to maximize high-grade boundary retention.
Closing Progress & Linguistic Literacy Gaps: Identify and target learning barriers within mixed-ability cohorts, deploying explicit vocabulary retrieval systems, scaffolded speaking prompts, and low-stakes testing to ensure accessibility for SEND pupils while stretching high-prior-attaining linguists.
Inclusive Pastoral Support: Fulfil full form tutor responsibilities within an established year group structure, supporting pupil wellbeing, managing daily registration routines, and maintaining proactive, positive communication with local families.
PROFILE REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised equivalent teaching credential, paired with a strong honours degree in French, Modern Foreign Languages, Linguistics, or a closely related international humanities discipline.
