We're working with a welcoming secondary school in the M30 area of Manchester that is looking to appoint a Behaviour Manager on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2026.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with a strong pastoral or behaviour background to take ownership of the school's Reflect (internal exclusion) provision, helping students make positive choices and successfully reintegrate into mainstream lessons.

The Role
As Behaviour Manager, you'll lead the day-to-day running of the school's Reflect provision, supporting students who require additional intervention while helping them return positively to learning.
Responsibilities include:
Managing the Reflect (internal exclusion) room
Holding restorative conversations with students
Supporting behaviour interventions and reintegration plans
Working closely with Heads of Year and pastoral teams
Liaising with parents and carers
Monitoring behaviour records and identifying trends
Promoting positive behaviour across the school
About You
We're looking for someone who has experience working within pastoral support, behaviour management, inclusion, youth work, or a similar role.
You'll be calm, resilient, and confident building positive relationships while maintaining high expectations. Experience using school MIS systems would be an advantage.
Salary & Benefits
£39,794–£46,398 FTE (pro rata, dependent on experience)
Full-time permanent contract
September 2026 start
Term time only plus 3 weeks
37.5 hours per week (8:00am–4:00pm)
