The Role
The successful candidate will join a thriving Business and Economics department and will:
Deliver engaging and challenging Business and Economics lessons across KS4 and KS5.
Inspire students to develop commercial awareness, analytical thinking, financial literacy, and an understanding of local, national, and global economies.
Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports students of all abilities to achieve their potential.
Contribute to curriculum development, assessment, and the continued success of the Business and Economics department.
Support extracurricular opportunities including enterprise projects, business competitions, careers events, and enrichment activities.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement.
There may also be opportunities to contribute to wider careers education, enterprise initiatives, and cross-curricular projects across the school community.
The Ideal Candidate
The school is seeking a teacher who:
Holds, or is working towards, QTS.
Has a degree or relevant qualification in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related subject.
Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for Business and Economics education.
Is committed to raising achievement and supporting students' confidence, aspirations, and wellbeing.
Can build positive relationships with students, colleagues, parents, and external partners.
Brings enthusiasm, innovation, and a proactive approach to school life.
