The Role

The successful candidate will join a thriving Business and Economics department and will:

• Deliver engaging and challenging Business and Economics lessons across KS4 and KS5.

• Inspire students to develop commercial awareness, analytical thinking, financial literacy, and an understanding of local, national, and global economies.

• Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports students of all abilities to achieve their potential.

• Contribute to curriculum development, assessment, and the continued success of the Business and Economics department.

• Support extracurricular opportunities including enterprise projects, business competitions, careers events, and enrichment activities.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement.

There may also be opportunities to contribute to wider careers education, enterprise initiatives, and cross-curricular projects across the school community.

The Ideal Candidate

The school is seeking a teacher who:

• Holds, or is working towards, QTS.

• Has a degree or relevant qualification in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related subject.

• Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for Business and Economics education.

• Is committed to raising achievement and supporting students' confidence, aspirations, and wellbeing.

• Can build positive relationships with students, colleagues, parents, and external partners.

• Brings enthusiasm, innovation, and a proactive approach to school life.
