A successful secondary school in Wakefield is seeking a highly organised and proactive Reprographics and Resources Technician to join its support staff team. Working closely with teaching staff, curriculum leaders and the wider administration team, you will be responsible for managing the school's reprographics service, ensuring teaching resources are produced accurately and on time. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting classroom delivery by preparing high-quality printed materials, maintaining reprographics equipment and assisting departments with a wide range of resource requests.

Resources Team

The Resources Team supports every department within the school by providing efficient reprographics, printing and learning resource services. As Reprographics and Resources Technician, you will ensure curriculum materials are prepared to a high standard while helping departments meet important deadlines throughout the academic year.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the school's reprographics and printing service.

• Producing worksheets, booklets, examination papers and teaching resources.

• Operating and maintaining photocopiers, printers and finishing equipment.

• Monitoring paper, toner and consumable stock levels.

• Ordering supplies and maintaining accurate inventory records.

• Prioritising urgent printing requests.

• Supporting curriculum departments with display materials and presentation resources.

• Carrying out basic maintenance and reporting equipment faults.

• Ensuring confidential documents are handled securely.

• Assisting with large-scale printing projects for school events and examinations.

• Maintaining an organised and efficient reprographics area.

• Supporting wider administrative tasks when required.

Requirements

• Previous experience within reprographics, administration or print services is desirable.

• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
