Teaching

• Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4.

• Opportunity to teach Biology, Chemistry or Physics at Key Stage 5, depending on your specialism.

• Deliver engaging lessons that combine practical investigation with strong theoretical understanding.

• Encourage students to question, investigate and think like scientists.

Beyond the Classroom

• Lead or support STEM clubs and enrichment activities.

• Contribute to Science Week, competitions and educational visits.

• Help shape an ambitious and engaging Science curriculum.

• Share ideas and resources with a collaborative department committed to continual improvement.

Supporting Student Success

• Monitor progress through effective assessment.

• Provide high-quality feedback that helps students improve.

• Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners.

• Build positive relationships that encourage confidence and resilience.

We'd Love to Meet Someone Who...

You don't need to tick every box—but you'll probably recognise yourself in most of these.

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Has a degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or a related scientific discipline.

• Is confident teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4.

• Has a passion for practical learning and scientific enquiry.

• Is positive, reflective and committed to continuous professional development.

• Can motivate students through engaging, well-planned lessons.

• Enjoys collaborating with colleagues and contributing to a supportive team environment.
