Office Manager
A welcoming Primary School in the London Borough of Sutton is seeking an experienced and highly organised Office Manager to lead its busy administrative team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys leading a team while ensuring the smooth and efficient running of a busy school office. The successful candidate will oversee all administrative operations, providing vital support to the Headteacher, leadership team, staff, pupils and parents.
Working closely with senior leaders, you will manage the office team, oversee reception services, coordinate admissions, maintain pupil records and ensure all school communications are handled professionally and efficiently. You will organise meetings, manage diaries, prepare reports and maintain confidential records while ensuring administrative systems remain effective and compliant.
The role also includes supporting HR administration, assisting with finance processes, coordinating educational visits, organising school events, monitoring office budgets and reviewing procedures to improve efficiency across the school's administrative functions. You will help create a welcoming environment where parents, visitors and external agencies receive an excellent level of service.
The successful candidate will possess exceptional organisational skills, strong leadership abilities and excellent communication skills. You will enjoy managing multiple priorities while supporting colleagues across the school to ensure the highest standards of administration.

Requirements
Previous Office Manager or Senior Administrator experience
Excellent organisational and leadership skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
High level of IT proficiency
Previous school administration experience desirable
Ability to manage competing priorities effectively
Professional, approachable and proactive manner
