Our community academy is dedicated to cultivating an inclusive, encouraging learning environment where personal growth and academic progress go hand in hand. As a non-selective school with a warm, child-centred ethos, we blend clear academic expectations with strong pastoral care. The science department is characterized by a collaborative planning culture and a commitment to accessible, hands-on learning, where teachers share a passion for making scientific discovery relevant to everyday life. We operate a highly supportive, consistent school-wide behaviour system that protects teaching time, allowing educators to focus on delivering engaging, well-scaffolded practical and theoretical lessons to a wonderfully diverse student body.
