CORE PURPOSE
We require an inspiring, highly commercial Business Studies Teacher to deliver outstanding business, enterprise, and economic instruction across Key Stage 4, with opportunities to contribute to post-16 advanced vocational and academic pathways. Operating within an ambitious, oversubscribed specialist STEM provider, the successful candidate will facilitate a knowledge-rich, real-world curriculum designed to foster deep conceptual understanding of corporate strategy, financial planning, marketing mechanics, and entrepreneurial logic, preparing all pupils thoroughly for exceptional outcomes in terminal GCSE Business and vocational enterprise public examinations.

Analytical & Financial Scaffolding: Train pupils to a high technical standard in interpreting complex financial statements, break-even metrics, and market data, utilizing structured analytical templates to build business evaluation skills and examination precision.
GCSE & Vocational Performance Optimization: Guide Year 11 examination cohorts meticulously through the demands of linear terminal GCSE papers and vocational coursework modules, utilizing diagnostic progress tracking to refine exam technique and maximize high-grade retention.
Closing Business Attainment Gaps: Identify and target learning barriers within mixed-ability cohorts, deploying explicit command-word instruction, visual logic models, and structured retrieval practice to ensure accessibility for SEND pupils while stretching high-prior-attaining entrepreneurs.
Inclusive Pastoral Support: Fulfil full form tutor responsibilities within an established year group structure, supporting pupil wellbeing, managing daily registration routines, and maintaining proactive, positive communication with families.
PROFILE REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised equivalent teaching credential, paired with a strong honours degree in Business Studies, Economics, Finance, Management, or a closely related commercial discipline.
Pedagogical Capability: A proven track record or clear capacity to deliver strong progress metrics and exceptional performance outcomes in terminal public GCSE or BTEC specifications through highly structured, systematic, and explicit business pedagogy.
