An exceptional secondary school located in the heart of Westminster is seeking to appoint a talented and dynamic Business Teacher for a permanent position starting this September. The successful candidate will join a collaborative and high-achieving department, teaching Business Studies across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 (including BTEC and/or A-Level specifications). This role is open to experienced educators looking for a new challenge in a central London flagship school, as well as ambitious Early Career Teachers (ECTs) seeking an unparalleled start to their careers.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Business Studies across KS4 and KS5, delivering engaging lessons that cover enterprise, marketing, finance, and human resource models.
Prepare students thoroughly for external examinations across GCSE, A-Level, and vocational pathways (BTEC).
Plan, resource, and execute highly structured lessons that cater to a diverse range of student learning styles and abilities.
Collaborate with department colleagues to enrich the business curriculum with real-world corporate case studies and enterprise initiatives.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognized equivalent UK teaching qualification.
A relevant undergraduate degree in Business Studies, Management, Finance, or a related discipline.
Experience delivering the UK Business curriculum at secondary or sixth-form level.
A strong commitment to student progress, inclusive practice, and high standards of classroom management.
Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service (or willingness to process a new one).
