We're currently working with a welcoming nursery school in Southwark that is looking to appoint a Premises Officer from September. This is a part-time, ongoing temporary opportunity, ideal for an experienced school premises professional seeking a morning role.

The Role
As Premises Officer, you'll ensure the nursery is fully prepared for each school day.
Responsibilities include:
Opening the school each morning
Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs
Completing daily health and safety checks
Maintaining a clean, safe, and secure environment
Reporting maintenance issues promptly
Supporting the day-to-day management of the school premises
Contract & Hours
Location: Southwark
Contract: Part-time, ongoing temporary
Start Date: September 2026
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 11:30am (20 hours per week)
About You
To be considered, you must have previous experience working within a school environment as a Premises Officer, Caretaker, Site Assistant, or similar.
You'll be dependable, practical, able to work independently, and committed to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for children, staff, and visitors.
