We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic English Teacher (ECT) to join a thriving independent school in Reading this September.

The role will involve:

• Teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with opportunities to contribute at Key Stage 5 where appropriate)
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ reading, writing, analytical and communication skills
• Inspiring students through a rich and diverse range of literature and encouraging a lifelong love of reading
• Supporting students to develop confidence, creativity and critical thinking
• Contributing to a supportive and collaborative English department
• Taking part in the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities, clubs and co-curricular opportunities
