Geography Teacher

You would be joining a successful Humanities department where Geography is a popular subject with excellent uptake at both GCSE and A-Level. The department is committed to helping students understand the rapidly changing world through an engaging curriculum that develops curiosity, analytical thinking and a strong awareness of global issues.

Students explore a wide range of physical and human geography topics, developing investigative, research and fieldwork skills that prepare them exceptionally well for further study. Lessons are interactive and enquiry-based, encouraging students to question, analyse evidence and apply their learning to real-world geographical challenges.

The department regularly organises local and residential field trips, environmental projects and geography competitions that enrich learning beyond the classroom. Staff work collaboratively to develop innovative resources, share best practice and maintain consistently high standards of teaching and learning.
