CORE PURPOSE
We require an ambitious, highly collaborative Science Teacher to deliver elite general science instruction across Key Stage 3 and specialist Biology, Chemistry, or Physics modules across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5. Extended Experimental Research Mentorship: Supervise students through advanced practical techniques and independent research components, expanding their analytical frameworks beyond the standard exam specification to prepare them for competitive university STEM pathways.
CLEAPSS Laboratory Safety Leadership: Oversee practical experiments with absolute adherence to CLEAPSS health and safety guidelines, ensuring the flawless maintenance of chemical agents, high-precision physics equipment, and biological specimens within the prep rooms and active studios.
Holistic Pastoral & House Mentorship: Fulfil full form tutor and house responsibilities within our established independent school structure, supporting student wellbeing, managing university application guidance (UCAS) for competitive science and medicine pathways, and maintaining professional communication with families.
PROFILE REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised equivalent teaching credential, paired with a strong honours degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a closely related quantitative scientific discipline.
